Red Eyeshadow Look!

Hey there!!!

How is everyone’s week going? Bet most of you are all excited for the weekend by now.
I am still on my leave from work – still enjoying it. However, on Wednesday it is back to work work work!

I went to town yesterday with my mom and baby niece and did a nice red eye shadow look to suit the red top I was wearing.
Most of the time I like to match my eye shadow colours with the clothes I’m wearing. I wore a white 3/4 trousers with a red top.

This is the first time that I am using this red eye shadow since I bought it. So, I thought I would try something different as I have never worn red eye shadow or attempt to. I think this turned out very good! The key is to blend, blend and blend! It does make a difference!

I used a light cream colour shadow for all over the lid as a base starting colour. The red eye shadow is a very good red by NYX Cosmetics called “Red Head”. The red colour almost looks pink toned when blended but that is probably because of the light base colour eye shadow that I used. Highlighting the brow bone and inner corners of eye and water line was using the shade “Booty Call” by Urban Decay (Naked 2 Palette).

How do you like to decide what eye colours to go for? Clothes, mood, hair?

Lily 🙂 x

I absolutely love that look! I don't really use eyeshadow at all, but it's always nice to experiment at home, after a day of wearing makeup. xD
