Makeup Revolution Advent Calendar | 6 Day Round Up

Hey everyone!

So I initially wanted to attempt Blogmas and I even wrote up a list of blog posts that I could do for every day before Christmas. But I ended up not doing Blogmas at all because I would not have the time to write a blog post every day. There was the option of writing posts ahead of the time, but I didn’t ahead 🙁
There’s always a next time. Fortunately, I will be doing some Christmasy Posts throughout the month until Christmas.

I was so excited when I bought this Makeup Revolution Advent Calendar because I have never had a beauty advent calendar or even a chocolate one! So this was great! I did not want to spend a too much on a beauty advent calendar and I also wanted to try out more products from Makeup Revolution that I have not tried before.

I bought this wonderful item on Makeup Revolution’s website for only £25! What a bargain! When I received it and unwrapped the packaging, I quickly through away the plastic part which shows all the items at the back. I want to keep it as a surprise for myself 😉

I love the way the advent calendar is designed. It has rose gold coloured stars and on the frames of the products. It’s also cute how some of the days are shaped. You can guess some of them by the shapes. It’s a nice touch. The overall box is bigger than I thought it would be, but I’m not complaining! Great job on the packaging.

Since I am not able to post a blog post every day regarding what items are in each day. I will do a blog post on a few days at a time. As you can tell by the title, today’s post will be on the first 6 days of Makeup Revolution items from this beauty advent calender.

So let’s get started on what I got so far in December…

DAY 1

A classic red nail polish. This would be great for Christmas Day nails!

DAY 2

A nice nude lipstick, I think I may already have this lipstick shade.

DAY 3

A very pigmented highlight! I already have the full sized product of this and it’s a really intense highlight so start by applying little at a time.

DAY 4

A very subtle peachy nude shade. Great blush to add to your cheeks when you have a bold eye shadow look going on.

DAY 5

A nude nail polish. This shade almost looks like a good taupe shade to. Nice colour!

DAY 6

We have here a bright orange lipstick. I have not swatched this baby yet, but I can tell I would probably not get much use from this one. I’m not brave enough!

And there you have it!

My 6 Day Round Up of the Makeup Revolution Beauty Advent Calendar!

I will be back next week to show you another round up!

Which advent calendar do you own?
