Hello there everyone! It’s been a long while since I’ve posted so it’s good to be back. I was busy setting up my new website which is now self hosted to and with a new name.
For this post, I will show you some colours that can easily be worn during the rest of this Spring season and also ease your way into Summer with. So I went through my ever growing collection of nail polishes and have selected a lovely few.
The majority of my nail polish collection consists of Barry M, so I tried mixing 2 other brands in there to with swatches of each colour. I love wearing pastel shades because it looks so pretty and vibrant on the nails.
Let’s get started…
First up we have a Barry M nail polish from there Gelly Hi-Shine range in the shade, Greenberry. This is such a nice and vibrant shade of green with a tinge of blue to it. I remember wearing this shade on holiday once and it makes the perfect spring or summer nail. I used two coats of polish to get the colour this opaque.
Here we have a nail polish from Bourjois in their So Laque Gossy range. Shade – 06 Adora-bleu. A very strong baby blue colour with 2 coats of polish. Looks lovely on the nails for this season.
Another shade from Barry M in their Speedy Quick Dry Range. The shade is called Pole Position Green. Remember when the craze with mint green nails came onto the scene? This colour reminds me of that, except this has more light green tones making it more of a baby green. This colour also took 2 coats.
Up next we have a shade from Essie called Nice is Nice. This colour I would describe as a muted lilac. It took me 3 coats to get the colour this opaque. My favourite colour is purple so I used to really like wearing this shade.
Another colour from Bourjois in their So Laque Ultra Shine range in the shade, Rose Merveille. I had to include a baby pink pastel colour in my selection. Can’t go wrong with a cute baby pink nail look. This shade also took 3 coats.
Last and certainly not least, yet another Barry M shade from their Gelly Hi-Shine range. See, I told you I had a lot of Barry M colours in my collection. This is the shade called, Pomegranate. When you have a quick glance at this colour, you would class it as a red but it’s not a full red. This is more of a pink toned red. Even though it seems like a strong red, it has pink hues which makes it quite unique. Only 1 coat of polish to get this opacity of, very full of colour.
There we have it. I hope you enjoyed this post and I hope it also gave you some inspiration on what colours to wear this Spring season and shades to slowly flow into the Summer season with.
Hope you all have a lovely Easter this weekend!
