Hey everyone! Are you all enjoying the snow?
I woke up to see a little bit of snow here in my area, but it’s now as heavy and thick as it is in other places. But nevertheless, it still looks pretty.
There about 2 weeks now until Christmas! I just have a little bit more Christmas shopping to do then I think I’m sorted with everyone’s presents. Seems like it gets harder every year to get something for someone, especially when they don’t know what they want.
This post will just be a small gift guide of products that is easily accessible and something a beauty lover would love to receive this Christmas. As there is only 2 weeks left until Christmas, these products are readily available at Boots, Debenhams and Cult Beauty. Cult Beauty is really good with delivery times and Boots and Debenhams do offer collections for if you order online. So there is still time!
First up, we have this Nails Inc Wishes and Kisses Nail Polish Gift Set. It looked so pretty, I couldn’t help but pick one up for myself. This set has a good mix of colours for the festive season and any other season to be honest. The red shade and the gold glitter top coat is ideal for Christmas as this type of red is the perfect red shade. But then again, I would wear any colour no matter the season. Glad I picked up this set.
These colours are stunning! Those swatches are taken in natural day light but they don’t to the colours justice at all. I would definitely recommend picking these up for that special someone who loves all things nails. This set definitely got me excited when I saw it. You receive 4 full sized nail polishes in this set (14ml) and it’s currently selling at Debenhams for £24.65 on their website. That is with a 15% discount, so I would try and catch that deal as soon as you can! Such a good value for 4 full sized deal as one of their polishes usually retail for around £15 (although they’re also offering a 15% discount as well on other Nails Inc shades on Debenhams website).
Here we have the perfect gift for that liquid lipstick lover! I have never tried Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipsticks before so that’s the main reason I picked this gift set up and I’m not dissappointed! This set includes 3 mini shades (2.3g) and you can get this from the Cult Beauty website for just £26. I thought that was a good price for 3 shades, even though they’re not full sized, they would still last you a while. Before we move on to the swatches, we need to admire the rose golf detailing on their packaging! It’s so pretty and such a good touch. You have very Autumnal shades in this set, a lovely warm red and brown shade and a nude shade. All drying to a matte finish that is not drying and is comfortable to wear.
The packaging of this Face Inc Mini Mask Wreath Gift set is so adorable and a cute idea. A wreath made up of masks! A great gift for someone who loves a good pamper. I love how each mask comes in their own tub, no mess no fuss. This set includes 5 mini masks which are; Night Night Soothing Hydro Night Mask, Carbon Neutral Charcoal Purifying Mask, Bubble Burst Hydrating Serum, Silver Streak Brightening Peel Off Mask, Rose Glow Youth Boosting Peel Off Mask. There is such a variety of different masks here to try, I’m loving the sound of the Peel Off masks. You can get this set from Boots for £18. However, Boots are doing a 3 for 2 deal on gift sets. So technically, you could get this free depending on how you go about your gift sets.
Now I’m sure you have all seen this beauty floating around a lot on Instgram. This is the Stila Eye For Elegance gift set. I had to get my hands on this because I’ve heard so many good things about this and I had to try it out for myself. I already love the liquid lipsticks and mascara by Stila so I expect good things from this. This set includes 6 mini liquid eyeshadows. I love eyeshadows and as these are liquid, it is different to anything else I own. An added bonus is that 3 of these liquid eyeshadows (Shimmer and Glow shades) are not even available yet until the Spring. So we get a sneak peak as to what’s to come. I got this set directly from the Stila website, at a discounted price as it was Black Friday. But the normal selling price is £45. I see that it’s out of stock now on their website. But hopefully Cult Beauty, Beautybay or Stila will restock soon.
The shades look absolutely beautiful and I’m excited to try these on my eyes soon. Let me know if you would like me to do a review on these liquid eye shadows in the comments below. Judging by the swatches on my hand, they seem so pigmented and full of colour. The Peachy Sheen shade is the lightest of them all, but as the name suggests, it’s a sheen and that exactly what it looks like. Would be interesting to see how this one looks on the eyes as it may look different on the eyes than on my hand.
I hope you enjoyed this little gift beauty Christmas gift guide and managed to get some ideas on gifts. Cult Beauty, Beautybay, Debenahms and House of Fraser all have really good gift sets so also check on their websites and see if anything catches your eye. Also, don’t feel bad for buying anything for yourself either, I love gift sets so I couldn’t pass these up and got this all for myself. They’re also good value and especially good for if you’re wanting to try new products from a brand.
Have a great week everyone!
